Lybe Scientific AS and medlabdia have started a distribution partnership. From now on, medlabdia customers can order Lybe’s NAxtra® kits for fast, automation-ready nucleic acid extraction directly from medlabdia, together with the instruments to run them.
Chemistry meets automation
NAxtra® is Lybe Scientific’s magnetic-bead chemistry for extracting DNA and RNA in under 15 minutes. The kits are designed for automated liquid handlers and extraction robots, so they fit the lab automation systems medlabdia already supplies and services.
We are excited to see our NAxtra® products for nucleic acid purification be distributed to medlabdia’s customers.

Proven in a sepsis study
The NAxtra® 2.0 Blood and Tissue nucleic acid extraction kit was recently used in a bioRxiv study on rapid pathogen identification from blood cultures of sepsis patients: 151 samples, 100 % pathogen identification accuracy and a turnaround of about four hours.
